Five Fat Burning Foods
Recently I noticed a change in my stomach, it's not as flat as it used to be. I now have that little pouch at the bottom of my stomach, a common problem for women. My clothes just are not fitting as well as they used to. I know that exercise really can not get to that trouble area. The truth hurts girls but … Abs are made in the kitchen. And it couldn’t be more true!
Unfortunately, spot reduction doesn't work, either for your abs or for any other body part. The fallacy of spot reduction assumes that, if you have fat over your abs, then exercising the ab muscles will make that fat go away. While exercising the muscle may increase endurance or strength, it won't burn off the fat in that area.
The only way to burn fat from your belly is to reduce overall body fat by decreasing caloric intake. However, to get six-pack abs, you may have to drop your body fat to a level that is either a struggle to maintain or downright unhealthy. Many of us have the goal to get six-pack abs but most of us will find it difficult to reach that goal. Remember that we all have flaws and perfection isn't an option. Instead, challenge yourself by taking care of your body and accepting it--good, bad and ugly.
Here are some foods that have fat burning properties to help you with over all fat reduction, and may have to whittle away some of the belly fat .
1. Oats- Oats are a great start to your day. They will help keep you full. And if you add a little cinnamon to your oats you increase your metabolism, as cinnamon has natural thermionic properties
2. Grapefruit- Grapefruit helps lower insulin levels which promotes weight loss and fast metabolism.
3 Almonds- Almonds are a great source of protein to help keep you full and accelerates your metabolism.
4. Blueberries- While Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants, they are also low in sugar and great for a healthy low calorie snack.
5 Green Tea- Natural caffeine can help speed up the metabolism and keep you energized to burn more calories throughout the day.
